The Kalecik Hydroelectric Power Plant, located in Artvin and operated by Dağlar Energy Electric Production Inc., a subsidiary of Metgün Energy, was commissioned in 2017. The plant has 2 units of 14,030 MWm ANDRITZ HYDRO Pelton turbines and Indar generators, with a total installed capacity of 28.06 MWm and an annual production capacity of 81,720,000 kWh.
At the same time, the registration validation process for Kalecik HEPP is ongoing with the International Carbon Registry, a voluntary carbon market.
