The Başmakçı Biogas Power Plant, located in the Başmakçı district of Afyonkarahisar and operated by Bioden Energy Production Industry and Trade Inc., was commissioned in the 4th quarter of 2020.

The plant utilizes 4 units of Caterpillar CG170-20 gas generator sets, each with a capacity of 2.054 MWm / 2 MWe. The total installed capacity is 8.216 MWm / 8.0 MWe, with an annual production capacity of 56,000.00 MWh.

The verification process of the 'Gold Standard,' the most reputable standard for rating energy projects traded in the carbon market, is ongoing, contributing to social and environmental sustainability.

For the Bioden Energy Başmakçı BEPP facility, a total of 7.9976 MWp has been allocated under the hybrid solar power plant framework. Of this capacity, 0.5994 MWp received approval from the Ministry on September 30, 2022. The remaining capacity of 7.3982 MWp is currently undergoing the permit and approval processes for additional hybrid solar power plant installation.

Bioden Fertilizer Factory

In our biogas production facilities, we produce high-quality organic compost through fermentation after energy production, allowing us to produce 60,000 tons of organomineral fertilizer annually under the BİODEN Fertilizer brand.
